27 Collagen Drinks, Including Mocktails, Smoothies & Hot Beverages
By Holly Darnell, RD
June 9, 2026
Collagen drinks are usually DIY beverages made with hydrolyzed collagen peptides (in powder form) created for maximum absorption and which may support skin elasticity, healthy hair growth, joint comfort and more. There are also commercial collagen drinks, collagen liquid shots, sparkling collagen waters and even collagen creamers.
While you can simply mix an unflavored collagen powder with water, many collagen drinks use a flavored collagen powder for improved drinkability. Collagen peptides powder can also be added to smoothies, protein shakes, coffees and more.
When you ingest these drinks, your digestive system breaks down the collagen protein into small, highly bioavailable amino acids. Your bloodstream then distributes these building blocks to areas like the skin, hair follicles and cartilage, prompting the body to rebuild its own collagen matrix.
Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body and plays a key role in supporting the structure of skin, hair, nails, joints, bones, muscles and connective tissues. Because natural collagen production declines with age, many people incorporate collagen drinks into their daily routine as a convenient way to supplement their diet.
Here are 27 collagen drinks, divided into:
Flavored collagen drinks
Collagen protein smoothies
Specialty collagen drinks
Hot drinks with collagen
This mojito mocktail brings together the sublime flavors of this famous drink and with extra hydration to boot, courtesy of Multi Collagen Advanced Hydrate.
It’s the newest flavor of Multi Collagen Protein and already a hit. Besides 10 types of collagen, it uses organic green tea and organic lemon and is lightly sweetened with stevia leaf extract. Simply mix with 8 to 12 ounces of water, then add a few ice cubes.
This is popular summer drink made famous by you know who. It contains hibiscus tea, green tea and frozen berries alongside collagen powder, without a hint of sugar (you’ll be using a simple syrup with monk fruit).
We who work at Ancient Nutrition have plenty of our personal favorite products. But come summertime, it's Multi Collagen Protein Strawberry Lemonade that often wins the poll. It's great mixed just with water, but if you want to step it up to strawberry lemonade mocktail status, this is your recipe.
While most slushies are loaded down with sugar and artificial colors — and contain only simple carbs — this homemade slushy recipe steers clear of sugar and contains real fruit alongside a collagen protein with a superfood hydration blend.
For a more sophisticated mocktail, this is a winner. It uses ingredients that blend perfectly and give a complex yet delicious flavor with the pineapple, coconut milk, guava and ginger ingredients. It features the sublime guava passionfruit flavor of Multi Collagen Protein Powder Beauty Within.
Watermelon is one of the great hydrating foods and tastes great by itself, but it also works really well in drink recipes such as a frozen watermelon margarita mocktail. It’s beautiful and flavorful … and yes, includes collagen!
Agua fresca, or “fresh water,” is a popular drink in Mexico and throughout Central America. They’re made by combining water with sugar and fruits to create a sweet and tasty beverage. Here it happens with watermelon, honey, lime juice, collagen and sparking water.
Make up this classic mocktail that also loves up your skin. It leverages Multi Collagen Advanced Hydrate, which help you achieve rapid hydration for both your skin and body.
This mocktail includes perfect summer drink ingredients alongside one of Ancient Nutrition’s most underrated collagen flavors: Multi Collagen Protein Cucumber Lime.
In addition, Ancient Nutrition offers many delicious flavors of Multi Collagen Protein that you can simply mix with 8 to 12 ounces of water:
Multi Collagen Advanced Lean (Cinnamon)
Multi Collagen Protein Beauty Within (Guava Passionfruit)
Multi Collagen Protein Beauty + Sleep Support (Vanilla Chai)
Multi Collagen Protein Brain Boost (Vanilla)
Multi Collagen Protein Gut Restore (Lemon Ginger)
Collagen is hydrolyzed (broken down into smaller collagen peptides), so it’s highly water-soluble. That being said, it dissolves much faster in hot or room-temperature liquid, and it may clump in ice-cold water if not mixed correctly.
Therefore, to get a smooth, clump-free drink, follow these best practices:
Add the collagen powder to a small amount of lukewarm water first. Stir briskly (or use a frother) until fully dissolved, then top off your glass with ice and cold water or your favorite beverage.
Add water and the collagen powder into a shaker bottle and vigorously shake for a well mixed collagen drink.
You can also enjoy collagen powder with sparking later, but you need to use a specific method to avoid excessive fizzing:
In a glass, add collagen powder to a few ounces of room-temperature still water. Stir or froth until it's completely dissolved.
Slowly pour chilled sparkling water (potentially in a flavor that compliments your collagen powder) into the glass while gently stirring.

This summer smoothie becomes creamy and divine with frozen peaches, collagen protein, and a few other key ingredients.
This piña colada smoothie is all about health and energy, with pineapple, coconut milk and chia seeds. It contains 22 grams of protein next to 17 grams of healthy fats.
Have you had papaya? It's one of the healthiest tropical fruits but always takes a backseat to mango or pineapple because it's not as sweet. Put it in a smoothie, however, and you're golden.
A churro with chocolate is divine but in a smoothie? Turns out it’s even better than it sounds, with these flavors coming together beautifully.
Cherries are an overlooked fruit when it comes to smoothies. They provide a great flavor and are loaded with antioxidants. They also blend well with a vanilla flavor, such as the Multi Collagen Protein Vanilla.
This smoothie is not only packed with flavor, but also the perfect way to sneak in your Ancient Nutrition Hormone Balance + Collagen. The creamy cherry-vanilla combo is refreshing, hormone friendly and super satisfying.
Wondering what to consume before a workout? This pre-workout smoothie inspired by one of our influencers has all you need, with fast-digesting carbohydrates, collagen protein and plenty of nutrients. You’ll have plenty of energy for your exercise.
Want a drink that’s fun to have daily and can boost the metabolism and help manage a healthy weight? This concoction, featuring Multi Collagen Protein Advanced Lean powder alongside other key ingredients, is the ticket.
This DIY citrus electrolyte drink is delicious and contains at least double the amount of electrolytes that most sport drinks feature, on top of many other valuable nutrients.
Rather than overpay for this commercial pink drink with less than ideal ingredients (and too much sugar), you can make it at home with the best ingredients and sip with the comfort knowing that it's good for you.
Want to put together a drink that will maximize your skin's potential? Make up this beauty drink with a few key ingredients, including Multi Collagen Protein Beauty Within.
A long-time Spanish and Mexican recipe, horchata is a homemade cinnamon-flavored drink that can be made without dairy yet still be absolutely delicious. And with Multi Collagen Advanced Lean powder, it’s also a metabolic boost.
There are plenty of detox drinks these days, but what about simply detox water? Very easy to make, with a big assist from Multi Collagen Advanced Detox powder that provides multiple detoxifying benefits.
This collagen coffee — also goes by "keto coffee" or "butter coffee" — is full of performance fats as well as collagen (optionally, use the new Lean collagen powder with a hint of cinnamon). It's incredibly easy to make and may become a new part of your morning ritual.
Fan of hot chocolate but wish you could avoid all that sugar. Try this high-protein version with collagen for better nutrition that will keep you deliciously full for hours.
We often save our fancy tea and coffee drink orders for the coffee shop or cafe. But did you know you can make your own chai latte at home and with much better ingredients? This one is as good as it gets and even features great macros: 16 grams of carbs, 3 grams of fat and 11 grams of protein for a 136 calorie serving!

Our body’s collagen production naturally begins to slow down as we age.
