Watermelon Agua Fresca
By Ethan Boldt
May 29, 2026

Are you in need of a refreshing drink to cool down with as the warm weather persists? You’ve got to try this fruity, sparkling Watermelon Agua Fresca.
Agua fresca, or “fresh water,” is a popular drink in Mexico and throughout Central America. They’re made by combining water with sugar and fruits to create a sweet and tasty beverage. It's considered one of the great summer mocktails.
This version includes the added benefits of Multi Collagen Protein and uses cooling benefit-rich watermelon — one of the great hydrating foods — and honey to keep it free from refined sugars. When mixed with sparkling water, the result is a fizzy beverage you’ll want to drink all summer long.
Cut the watermelon into pieces and juice the lime. Add both to a high-powered blender with some honey. (Raw honey is best.) Add the Multi Collagen Protein powder.
Blend into well mixed, then add the sparkling water. Stir it in.
As a great option, garnish with lime slices and mint leaves.
