Peach Smoothie: High in Protein, with a Fat Loss Blend
By Ethan Boldt
August 4, 2026
Peaches are probably one of most loved but least consumed fruits because their period of ripeness is limited, and typically most of us only consume them in the summer. Well, if you buy frozen peaches, you're still getting them at the peak nutrition but also can use them anytime of year.
Even better, you can add frozen peaches into one of the tastiest smoothies on the planet: the peach smoothie, which suddenly becomes creamy and divine with frozen peaches, whey protein (with a cinnamon-based fat loss blend that marries perfectly with peaches), and a few other key ingredients.
This will become one of your go-to morning smoothies ... or an afternoon pick-me-up. You can also enjoy after a workout to replenish your energy stores and assist with your muscle recovery.
Why drink this peach smoothie? It includes tons of healthy carbohydrates for energy alongside plenty of muscle supporting protein (31 grams). At 351 calories, it can work as a small breakfast or as a post-workout meal to refill those glycogen stores in your muscles. It's also got 8 grams of fiber, so supports healthy digestion.
The ingredients are chockfull of nutrients. The peach is one of the healthiest fruits. In addition to its many vitamins and minerals, low calorie content and, of course, delicious flavor, the peach also comes packed with great antioxidants, including all five classifications of carotenoids.
Bananas are packed with potassium and fiber, and high in vitamins B6 and C. Oats are good for healthy cholesterol and blood sugar levels, plus naturally contain fiber.
Raw honey is a superior natural sweetener, as it does not cause a sugar spike and elevated insulin release like white sugar. Plus it's relatively low in calories. Raw honey also contains 22 amino acids, 27 minerals and 5,000 enzymes!
Ancient Nutrition's Whey Protein + Fat Loss Blend includes a powerful superfood blend with clinically studied ingredients to help you lose fat, build lean muscle and more.
Most whey protein formulas are exclusively whey, and often they’re a whey isolate, which is a highly processed form of whey. Ancient Nutrition uses less processed whey — a combination of grass-fed whey protein concentrate and regenerative A2/A2 milk protein — and adds some critical superfoods for extra benefits.
(You can also go with Multi Collagen Advanced Lean powder, too, as it also uses a proprietary fat loss blend and comes in a cinnamon-based flavor.)
Here are the ingredients recommended for this peach smoothie:
Frozen peach slices: Why frozen? Peak freshness that also makes for a creamy texture.
Frozen banana: Same deal here, as frozen banana can even used with frozen peaches to create a delicious natural "ice cream."
Ancient Nutrition's Whey Protein + Fat Loss Blend: Made with easy-to-digest whey and a clinically studied Fat Loss Blend, this Whey Protein delivers 23g of protein to help you burn calories, increase your metabolism and build lean muscle. Its vanilla cinnamon flavor works perfectly for a peach smoothie. (You can also go with Multi Collagen Advanced Lean featuring 10 collagen sources.)
Gluten-free oats: Adds healthy carbs and provides a peach cobbler like taste.
Raw honey: Most nutrition-packed sweetener.
Almond milk: Go with unsweetened and shake well before pouring. It's one of the best plant-based milks in smoothies because it's low in calories and carbs yet adds some protein and fat.
This peach protein smoothie is a delicious way to start your morning or refuel after a workout. Naturally sweet peaches and banana create a creamy, refreshing base, while a scoop of Whey Protein + Fat Loss Blend (Vanilla Cinnamon) or Multi Collagen Advanced Lean (Cinnamon) adds satisfying protein to help keep you feeling full.
Gluten-free oats contribute fiber and a smooth texture, while a drizzle of raw honey and a dash of cinnamon bring just the right amount of natural sweetness and warm spice.
To make it, add one cup of frozen peach slices (or one fresh peach, sliced), half a frozen banana, one scoop of protein powder, quarter cup of gluten-free oats, half-teaspoon of raw honey, and one cup of unsweetened almond milk (or water) to a high-speed blender. If you'd like, add one-quarter teaspoon of ground cinnamon for an extra layer of flavor.
Blend for 30 to 60 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is thicker than you'd like, simply blend in a little more almond milk or water until it reaches your desired consistency.
Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately. For an even frostier smoothie, use frozen peaches and banana, or toss in a handful of ice before blending. Whether you're looking for a quick breakfast, a nourishing afternoon snack or a refreshing post-workout drink, this peach smoothie is an easy way to enjoy wholesome ingredients in every sip.
Want a peach cobbler-like experience? Add less almond milk to make it thicker and pour it into a bowl. Top it some naturally sweetened granola and grab a spoon.
Want more protein? Add a quarter-cup of unflavored Greek yogurt.
Desire more of a keto smoothie that's high in fat? Use coconut milk instead of almond milk. You can also add some almond butter.
To boost the nutrition even more, add a handful of spinach or a tablespoon of chia or flax seeds.
