Detox Water with Cucumber, Lemon and Mint

Plain ole’ water isn’t enough any longer. It’s go to be sparkling, flavored or even with hops (!) for some folks today. Now a new trend is so-called detox water.
While a lot of claims are thrown out there, the principle reason to drink this water is to detoxify. Therefore, many detox waters use a variety of ingredients to help make that happen.
What they don’t have is Multi Collagen Advanced Detox powder. Designed to support your body’s natural ability to detoxify, this powder mixed with some water helps you feel your best inside and out — no cleanse required.
Detox water is supposed to help remove toxins from the body, help balance your pH, and support healthy weight levels as well as a healthy immune system.
Often using lemon, detox water also often uses other ingredients to change the flavor and the potential benefits. For example, wellness shots’ ingredients like apple cider vinegar, turmeric, cayenne pepper and ginger can also work well in a detox water. This detox water recipe below keeps it simple with sliced lemon and cucumber alongside fresh mint and, of course, the Multi Collagen Advanced Detox powder.
Detox water also is extremely low in calories and can help improve satiety, so many health-conscious consumers are sipping on it these days. The flavors also help it be more drinkable compared to regular water.
According to Traditional Chinese Method, detox water with lemon benefits digestion and stomach health. It’s also said to have cooling properties. Meanwhile, on an Ayurvedic diet, detox water with lemon is thought to be cleansing and purifying and can support regularity.
We’ll start with the headliner. Multi Collagen Advanced Detox Powder supports your body’s natural ability to detoxify. It features 10 types of collagen from 10 food-based sources plus select clinically studied ingredients and ancient superfoods — such as organic reishi mycelium, fulvic acid mineral extract, organic fermented milk thistle seed, organic fermented burdock root, organic fermented dandelion root and organic apple cider vinegar.
This patented “detox blend” includes ingredients that have been traditionally used to help your body’s built-in healthy detoxification system detox from what we may encounter in our everyday, normal lives. It’s a unique combination designed to help support healthy detoxification and liver health, so you can feel your best inside and out.
Otherwise, this detox water uses sliced lemon and cucumber as well as fresh mint. It’s a drink you can enjoy any time of year.

In a large pitcher, add purified water. Mix in the Multi Collagen Advanced Detox powder with an immersion blender until powder is fully dissolved.
Simply add in sliced cucumber, sliced lemon and mint leaves and stir.
Ideally the cucumber, lemon and mint is organic. When buying lemons, opt for ones that are fully yellow.
Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and allow to chill for at least two hours so flavors can fully combine. Stir before serving.
Although detox water can be enjoyed at any temperature, many prefer using warm or room temperature water to avoid shocking your system. Drink a few cups per day to maximize the potential health benefits of detox water.
