Detox drink recipe

The changing of the seasons is a perfect time to focus on your health regimen, including healthy detoxification support.

Ready to detox? This detoxifying drink can help support the body’s natural detoxification process. After detoxing, you may notice that you feel lighter, fresher and more clear-headed afterwards.

Detox Drink Ingredients

Detox drinks are only as good as their ingredients. These are the six of the best and are used in this detox drink recipe:

1. Fresh ginger

Ginger root is loaded with benefits, including the ability to promote a healthy response to inflammation. Try our ginger shots, too.

2. Lemon

Lemon juice is loaded with vitamin C, which helps support overall immune system health.

3. Herbal Cider Vinegar

Our Herbal Cider Vinegar tincture features apple cider vinegar plus 20+ organic, regenerative superfood ingredients, including fermented turmeric, moringa leafy, sumac berry, guava, passionfruit, holy basil leaf, elderberry, key lime, feijoa and goji.

Benefits include healthy weight management (in addition to a healthy diet and lifestyle, including regular exercise), body composition, detoxification and gut support.

4. Turmeric

Turmeric is rich in polyphenols, called curcuminoids, that have powerful antioxidant benefits. Also try our turmeric shot.

5. Cayenne

It’s a natural aid for digestion, and supports healthy detoxification.

6. Coconut water

Brimming with potassium, it serves to add electrolytes and promotes the body’s natural detoxification process.

How to Make This Detox Drink

Make sure you pick a fresh piece of ginger root. You can leave the skin on but wash off any dirt. Juice a two-inch piece of ginger along with one full lemon.

Add to a small container or bowl, then add in the coconut water, Herbal Cider Vinegar, turmeric and cayenne. Mix well and transfer to a small class or bottle.

Consume like a shot or store in the fridge for up to three days.
