Healthy Chocolate Banana Muffins
By Ethan Boldt
May 30, 2023
These chocolate banana muffins are equally as delicious as they are adorable. Perfect for when you need a quick treat, these mini muffins are soon to be your family's favorite. To make things even better, we chose to use Paleo-friendly ingredients and one of our favorite new products, Ancient Elixirs Superfood Cocoa powder
This Superfood Cocoa powder contains cocoa plus energizing coconut MCTs plus adaptogenic superfoods like ashwagandha, reishi and chaga. As a result, it offers support for healthy energy, reduced fatigue, mental clarity and even a healthy response to stress.
As you can see below, these banana chocolate muffins have a great nutritional profile, with 159 calories for 1 regular-sized muffin or two mini muffins. Not bad! And for each serving, they offer 10 grams of carbs (only 7 net carbs), 13 grams of fat and 3 grams of protein. These will get you going and satiate!
Plus, these only take 30 minutes to make, start to finish, so these chocolate banana muffins are perfect for any day.
First, preheat the oven to 375 F. Prepare these healthy ingredients before you put them in a big mixing bowl, in particular mash the bananas, whisk the eggs and melt the coconut oil. Otherwise, simply add everything else into the bowl.
Using a wooden spoon, mix the healthy chocolate banana muffins ingredients together without overdoing it.
Using a rubber scraper or spoon, fill each muffin tin until each is about three-fourths full. Place in the oven of 12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan.
