In general, a healthy diet is one that includes high-quality macronutrients, including proteins, fats and carbohydrates in a reasonable, health-promoting ratio and excludes or minimizes ultra-processed or processed foods, fast foods, snack foods and more. Overall, consuming plenty of low-carb vegetables and low-sugar fruits (preferably organic), adequate clean proteins and performance fats in balanced amounts help to constitute an overall healthy diet.
