Lemon plants are native to Asia, were brought to Europe in 200 A.D., and have been used for thousands of years to clean, purify and invigorate. Now, they’re grown around the world. Our Lemon Essential Oil comes from cold-pressing the lemon peel and not the inner fruit. The peel is actually the most nutrient-dense portion of the lemon because of its fat-soluble phytonutrients. Lemon Essential Oil is composed of many natural compounds, including terpenes, sesquiterpenes, aldehydes, alcohols, esters and sterols.

USDA Certified Organic

We're proud to be USDA Certified Organic — it means we bottle essential oils sourced from plants grown without the use of prohibited chemicals, pesticides and fertilizers, toxic human sewage sludge, biosolids or toxic solvents. Our USDA Certified Organic essential oils are always non-GMO and free of synthetic fragrances.

Potency From Seed to Bottle

So many essential oils lack potency Ñ but we donÕt believe in shortcuts when it comes to the quality of our oils. It typically takes a large amount of the original plant to create just a few drops of high-quality essential oil, so thatÕs what we do: for example, it takes approximately 45 lemons to create just one 15ml bottle of Lemon Essential Oil.

Lemon Essential Oil is incredibly versatile, from diffusing in your home, to part of a DIY cleaning solution, to adding to a body lotion.

Caution: Possible skin irritant. Avoid contact with eyes.

Aromatherapy essential oils are made using dozens of different plants, flowers, herbs, roots and trees grown all over the world — which have proven, powerful effects on boosting overall physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Should I always opt for USDA Certified Organic essential oils?

In short, yes. Conventional essential oils are generally sourced from plants grown with harsh chemicals and pollutants. Imagine condensing plants sprayed with toxins, bottling them up and diffusing throughout your home. USDA Certified Organic essential oils, on the other hand, are grown without these synthetic chemicals so you never have to second guess.

What are some other lemon oil benefits and uses?

  • Diffuse for a citrusy scent
  • Use as a cleaner to purify the air and surfaces
  • Use as a furniture polish Ñ just add a few drops to olive oil to clean, protect and shine wood finishes
  • To preserve and protect leather furniture and other leather surfaces or garments, use a cloth soaked in lemon oil to rub them down
  • Add lemon oil to a spray bottle of water to clean tables, countertops and other surfaces
  • Use lemon oil for the early stages of tarnish on silver and other metals
  • To remove stubborn sticky residue on surfaces, put lemon oil on a rag and wipe surfaces
  • To remove grease after changing the oil in an automobile, wash hands with lemon oil

Does this bottle come with a dropper?

Our essential oils do not include a dropper - instead, they have an easy-to-use lid that allows one drop to come through the top at a time. That helps avoid spilling or dropping too much at once.

How many drops come in this bottle?

The exact amount of uses differs depending on how much is used at once, but this bottle contains approximately 250 drops of USDA Certified Lemon Essential Oil.

Is this essential oil tested on animals?

We are proud to say that none of our products are tested on animals.

Is this in a plastic or glass bottle?

All of our essential oils are packaged into glass bottles. We recommend always opting for essential oils packed in glass and never plastic.
