To put it simply, “longevity” refers to living a long and healthy life. It’s about more than just extending lifespan — it’s about enhancing the quality of life during the natural process of aging. When we talk about "longevity," we’re referring to an approach to promoting healthy aging that goes beyond just looking younger — it’s about feeling strong and energized, inside and out. Question 4

What do you mean by “normal, healthy aging”?

Accepted Answer

Normal, healthy aging refers to the natural process of growing older while maintaining good physical and mental health. You can support your body in the natural aging process with a healthy diet filled with whole foods like fruits and vegetables, a healthy lifestyle with quality sleep, low stress and regular exercise and high-quality supplements with clinically studied ingredients.

Question 5

What ingredients specifically help with longevity?

Accepted Answer

Aging is normal, but it comes with its own challenges and changes. Many people experience changing energy levels, or changes to the way their joints feel, their physical appearance or their ability to manage a healthy weight. We formulated Longevity† specifically to address healthy aging from a well-rounded and whole-body perspective. All of our ingredients have a variety of purposes, but we’ll break it down: Longevity† has 10 types of collagen from 4 real-food sources to address healthy hair, skin and nails as well as provide comprehensive joint support.† It can help reduce knee stiffness and reduce joint discomfort† quickly and significantly. It also has triphala extract, which is a powerful blend of 3 herbs traditionally used in Ayurvedic practice. Triphala extract supports a healthy response to inflammation and healthy response to oxidative stress, both of which can negatively impact cells and exacerbate the effects of normal aging. Our formula has clinically studied mango leaf extract and ancient grains of paradise extract, which can help reduce visceral fat, improve muscle strength and improve exercise performance† (in addition to a healthy diet and lifestyle). Combined, those ingredients can be incredibly helpful in maintaining a healthy, lean body composition† (in addition to a healthy diet and lifestyle). It also includes redcurrant and blackcurrant extracts, which are ingredients packed with powerful antioxidants and backed by two clinical studies. The studies showed significant improvements in skin quality and texture and it reduces wrinkle depth and volume.† This ingredient helps energize the cells for healthy, vibrant skin.† Longevity† also includes quercetin, a plant flavonoid found naturally in many superfoods. It’s a well-known source of antioxidants and can support a healthy response to inflammation and oxidative stress. Finally, Vitamin B12 is a key ingredient in supporting longevity. It’s a water-soluble B vitamin that can help support healthy brain function, mental clarity and healthy neurological function. For a full list of ingredients, please refer to the supplement facts panel on the label. Every ingredient in Multi Collagen Advanced Longevity† was carefully selected to support a long, healthy and active lifestyle.

Question 6

Can I use this and Multi Collagen Protein at the same time?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can take any of our collagen products together. Collagen is naturally produced by your body and consuming collagen supplements can help support your body’s own collagen production. Multi Collagen Protein offers great support for healthy joints, skin, hair, nails and gut health.† It’s a well-rounded collagen product that can deliver head-to-toe support. Multi Collagen Advanced Longevity† is designed to specifically support healthy aging,† so you can absolutely take them together.

Question 7

What do you mean by "In addition to an overall healthy diet and lifestyle, including regular exercise."?

Accepted Answer

We believe that diet and lifestyle come first. That means supplements are designed to complement — not replace — a balanced diet and lifestyle (and they won’t undo a poor diet or unhealthy lifestyle choices). Nourishing your body with a variety of whole foods, staying active, and taking care of yourself is the foundation of good health. Supplements work best when paired with healthy habits like eating well, moving regularly, managing stress and getting enough sleep. We believe in taking a well-rounded approach to a healthy lifestyle.

Question 8

What’s the difference between Multi Collagen Advanced Longevity† and Multi Collagen capsules?

Accepted Answer

Both Multi Collagen Advanced Longevity† and Multi Collagen capsules offer 10 types of collagen from 4 sources (proprietary fermented eggshell membrane collagen, hydrolyzed bovine hide collagen peptides, chicken bone broth protein concentrate and hydrolyzed fish collagen peptides). Both products support whole-body collagen benefits, like healthy hair, skin, nails, joints and gut.† Multi Collagen Advanced Longevity† also offers 2 billion CFUs (at time of manufacture) of a resilient SBO probiotic strain called Bacillus coagulans. The formula also includes a specific Longevity† Blend of triphala extract, blackcurrant extract, mango leaf extract, quercetin, redcurrant extract, bamboo extract and grains of paradise extract. Multi Collagen capsules, on the other hand, include an Organic Fermented Botanical Blend of organic fermented ginger root, turmeric root, ashwagandha root, amla berry and holy basil leaf. Both are offered in a convenient capsule format. If you’re just looking for an easy way to incorporate collagen into your day, Multi Collagen capsules are a great option. If you’re looking specifically for support with healthy aging,† Multi Collagen Longevity† is the better option.

Question 9

What’s the difference between Multi Collagen Advanced Lean† capsules, Multi Collagen Advanced Muscle† and Multi Collagen Advanced Longevity†?

Accepted Answer

Great question! Let’s start with what remains the same between the formulas. Muscle†, Lean† and Longevity† are powerful formulas informed by both ancient wisdom and modern science. They provide 10 types of collagen, and include their own unique superfood blend that contains clinically studied ingredients. Multi Collagen Advanced Lean† capsules are intended to help support your weight loss goals. They contain 10 types of collagen from 10 real food sources, including nutrient-filled organs, and a key proprietary ingredient made up of moringa ( Moringa oleifera ) leaf extract, curry (Murraya koenigii ) leaf extract and turmeric rhizome extract that is clinically studied to deliver incredible results – including burning up to 15% more calories at rest†* and 6x more weight lost†** than diet and exercise alone. Lean† capsules are intended to work with your healthy diet and regular exercise to support healthy weight management†. Similarly, Multi Collagen Advanced Muscle† capsules also include 10 types of collagen from 10 real food sources (including organs). However, this formula is intended to help you build strength and lean muscle (in addition to a healthy diet and lifestyle, including regular muscle-building exercise). It includes a unique Muscle Building† Blend of organic ashwagandha root extract, Indian globe thistle (Sphaeranthus indicus) flower extract, organic cordyceps mycelium, mango (Mangifera indica) bark extract, organic fermented ginger root, organic fermented turmeric root, and organic fermented black pepper fruit. Rather than focusing on weight management, Multi Collagen Advanced Longevity† is designed to take a holistic approach to healthy aging support†. It contains 10 types of collagen from four premium sources, as well as a unique Longevity† Blend of clinically studied superfoods like triphala extract, blackcurrant extract, and mango leaf extract. This formula delivers results like improved skin texture, reduced wrinkles, and enhanced body composition† (in addition to a healthy diet and lifestyle, including regular exercise). This formula supports your body's normal aging and supports longevity† . All three products (like all our formulas) are backed by both ancient wisdom and modern science. And all three include superfood ingredients that are backed by clinical studies – including human clinical trials – so we feel confident when we say that either one can deliver visible and tangible results for you, depending on your unique goals.

Question 10

What is collagen?

Accepted Answer

Collagen is the most abundant structural protein in the body — especially type I — and is found throughout the body. As we age, natural collagen production declines, which can contribute to wrinkles, joint stiffness and reduced mobility. Collagen contains a whopping 19 different amino acids. Amino acids are the “building blocks of proteins,” and collagen includes a mix of both nonessential (also called conditional) and essential types.

Question 11

Why should I be supplementing with collagen?

Accepted Answer

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body. Up to 30% of all the protein in your body is collagen protein. Up to 70% of skin, hair, nails and nearly 100% of connective tissues are made from collagen. It literally holds you together, from the hairs on your head, to every inch of your skin, to your joint comfort and mobility. Collagen production naturally declines as we age, and it’s not being consumed in the standard modern diet. Supplementing can help support your body’s normal collagen production, so you can reap all the rewards of collagen.

Question 12

Are there other factors that contribute to collagen loss?

Accepted Answer

The natural aging process is not the only thing that can slow down production and diminish collagen in your body. If you’re worried about the breakdown of your own collagen, here are 7 lifestyle factors that are considered “collagen diminishers.” Poor sleep Excess sugar consumption Sun overexposure Diet low in antioxidants Sitting all day and lack of activity Nutrient shortfalls of vitamin C and zinc Free radicals You can fight back against collagen loss through a few combined approaches: Limit your exposure to damaging UV rays and other environmental toxins Consume collagen-boosting foods Support and promote the skin’s health by supplementing with collagen

Question 13

Why do you include 10 types of collagen?

Accepted Answer

Each type of collagen performs its own unique function in the body. Some types of collagen are the building blocks of your gut lining; other types support healthy nails or skin elasticity. Formulas that only offer one or two types of collagen are only beneficial for specific results. By providing 10 types of collagen, we’re helping ensure comprehensive collagen coverage for your whole body – inside and out, head to toe.

Question 14

What probiotic strain is featured?

Accepted Answer

Bacillus coagulans, which is a tough, effective strain of SBO or soil-based organism probiotics. We chose to use SBO probiotics because they're resistant to extremes in temperature as well as the harsh digestive tract, which helps them survive and thrive in your gut.

Question 15

Where do you source your collagen from?

Accepted Answer

Our collagen is sourced from non-GMO, pasture-raised and grass-fed, cage-free sources. Our hydrolyzed bovine hide collagen peptides are pasture-raised and grass-fed in South America. The hydrolyzed fish collagen peptides come from sustainably wild-caught haddock, cod and pollock, harvested from North American waters. The proprietary, clinically validated fermented eggshell membrane collagen is sourced from chicken eggshells from USDA-regulated egg breaking facilities within the United States. Our sustainably sourced chicken bone broth protein concentrate also comes from non-GMO, U.S.-farmed chickens.

Question 16

Is Multi Collagen Advanced Longevity† vegan/vegetarian?

Accepted Answer

Collagen is found only in animals, mostly in the flesh and connective tissue. There are no vegan collagen supplements (although there are vegan foods and products that can support your body’s production of collagen). As a result, Multi Collagen Advanced Longevity† comes from animal sources, so it is not vegan or vegetarian. We do have a Vegetarian Collagen Peptides supplement that comes entirely from our fermented eggshell membrane collagen, though!

Question 17

Should I take this product with food or on an empty stomach?

Accepted Answer

It’s up to you! This product may be taken with or without food. We suggest taking it at a time of day that’s easy to remember, so you can be as consistent as possible. Some customers like to take it with breakfast or before their workout, but you can take it any time that works for you.

Question 18

Are your products produced in a facility with allergens?

Accepted Answer

We now have a disclaimer that is on ALL of our products: "Produced on equipment that may also process peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soybean, wheat, sesame, shellfish, fish, egg." This is a voluntary disclaimer and our formulations have not changed. Our manufacturers are required to have Policies and Procedures in place when it comes to handling and processing allergens. These allergen programs are in place to prevent cross contamination after each run by proper cleaning procedures. Allergen swab testing is also done after running an allergen containing product. We test finished products for allergens prior to designating as “Free” of. We also follow cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) which helps maintain allergen segregation.
