What is the difference between Bone Broth Protein and Bone Broth Collagen products (bone broth vs collagen)?

Bone Broth Protein contains chicken bone broth protein concentrate with naturally occurring type II collagen and beef bone broth protein concentrate, which offers collagen types I and III. Bone Broth Collagen includes collagen from beef and chicken. While both products provide a great protein boost, Bone Broth Protein has 20g of protein and Bone Broth Collagen has 14g of protein per serving.

Both chicken-based and beef-based Bone Broth Protein provide an easy, versatile way to get all the benefits of an ancient superfood. Chicken-based and beef-based Bone Broth Protein (Vanilla, Chocolate, Pure and Turmeric flavors) features types I, II, and III collagen. The chicken-based bone broth features type II collagen, which inherently also has chondroitin, glucosamine and hyaluronic acid. Plus, it has 18 amino acids. It supports healthy joints, reduces joint discomfort, supports gut health and healthy skin†, and more. Beef-based Bone Broth Protein (Salted Caramel and Pumpkin Spice flavors) supports joint health, healthy skin, a healthy gut and healthy nails.† It includes collagen types I and III.

My container isn’t filled to the top. Is this normal?

Yes. Please keep in mind that packages are filled by weight and not volume. Your product will settle over time and may appear half (or even less than half) full when opened.

Why did you change the formula?

Accepted Answer

Our Bone Broth Protein Pure, Turmeric, Vanilla and Chocolate were the only products in our Bone Broth Protein line formulated with only chicken bone broth protein concentrate. The others have either a mix of chicken bone broth protein concentrate and beef bone broth protein concentrate OR beef bone broth protein concentrate only. With this reformulation, we have now aligned our entire Bone Broth Protein line of product offerings to include beef bone broth protein concentrate. We’re happy to say that, now, our Bone Broth Protein Pure, Turmeric, Vanilla and Chocolate will offer collagen types I, II, and III. Previously, these formulas only had chicken bone broth protein concentrate, which offered only collagen type II.

Are your products produced in a facility with allergens?

We now have a disclaimer that is on ALL of our products: "Produced on equipment that may also process peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soybean, wheat, sesame, shellfish, fish, egg." This is a voluntary disclaimer and our formulations have not changed. Our manufacturers are required to have Policies and Procedures in place when it comes to handling and processing allergens. These allergen programs are in place to prevent cross contamination after each run by proper cleaning procedures. Allergen swab testing is also done after running an allergen containing product. We test finished products for allergens prior to designating as “Free” of. We also follow cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) which guarantees allergen segregation.
