7 Layer Dip: the Ultimate Super Bowl Snack

Having guests over but don't know what to make? Super Bowl coming up? Look no further than this protein-packed and delicious 7 layer dip with black beans!
Traditional bean dips contain a lot of processed dairy and refried beans, but this healthy dish is just as yummy. Certain to satisfy even the pickiest eater, this simple and easy dip is a great addition to any get-together.
In addition, it includes Bone Broth Protein or Multi Collagen Protein for gut, skin and joint support. Each half-cup serving offers a perfect macronutrient snack, with 10 grams of fat next to 6 grams of carbs and protein.
In a high-speed blender, add in black beans, Bone Broth Protein Pure or unflavored Multi Collagen Protein, lime juice, garlic powder, sea salt and cumin. Blend until smooth and creamy.
In an 8-inch glass bowl or 6-inch glass dish, line the bottom with this first black bean layer. You can also go with fat-free refried beans.
Next, in a small bowl, mix together tomatoes, onion and lime juice. Add on top of the black bean mixture for the second layer.
For the third layer, spoon goat yogurt (or Greek yogurt) evenly across tomato mixture. Fourth layer? Evenly layer chopped cilantro on top of the yogurt.
Scoop guacamole over cilantro for the fifth layer. Either make your own or use storebought. You can also use chopped avocado.
For the sixth layer, place chopped peppers on top of the guacamole. Lastly, for the seventh layer, sprinkle goat cheddar cheese on top. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Winter Wellness: 11 Tips for Staying Healthy & Happy All Winter Long
Winter comes with many challenges. There’s less light so our outlooks can sour. It’s cold outside so we spend much less time outdoors. There’s less potent sunlight available for most of the country, so our bodies often don’t get the vitamin D they may typically get in the summertime. (Of course, vitamin D can help support a healthy immune system, which is important year-round.)
