What is unique about this formula?

Most whey protein formulas are exclusively whey, and often they’re a whey isolate, which is a highly processed form of whey. We use a combination of grass-fed whey protein concentrate and regenerative A2/A2 milk protein. Milk protein, sourced from healthy cows on regeneratively farmed soil, is a nutrient-filled superfood that provides amino acids, energy from lactose and protein. Whey protein is highly effective for muscle maintenance, strength building, and recovery. Choosing a protein powder with both A2/A2 milk protein and whey offers the best of both worlds. What is A2/A2 milk protein?

A2/A2 milk protein comes from cows that produce only the A2 type of beta-casein, which is the same primary protein found in human milk and is often easier for humans to digest. Originally, all cow's milk contained only A2 beta-casein, but over time a genetic mutation introduced the A1 variant. Most cow's milk available on the market today is a mix of A1 and A2 proteins, but A1 can be harder to digest for some individuals. A2/A2 milk is sourced from cows bred to eliminate the A1 protein. This makes A2/A2 milk a great option for those who want to avoid regular milk – plus, A2/A2 milk has an admirable nutrient profile, including calcium, vitamin B12, and protein. We’ve chosen to use exclusively grass-fed whey and organic regenerative A2/A2 milk protein in our Whey Protein formula, so you can get the benefits of milk and whey protein in an easy-to-digest way.

Can I refill my tub with this?

Yes! If you prefer to use your tub over the resealable XL bag, you can simply transfer the Whey Protein powder over as you need it. But please be cautious when pouring out the contents, as there will be a cloud of powder.

Is this bag recyclable?

Our XL bag is an environmentally friendly packaging option that is made from recycled plastics, most commonly PET and HDPE plastic products. Instead of being sent to a local landfill, used items such as bottles, milk jugs, buckets and industrial products like IBC totes and poly drums can be broken down, melted and reconstructed to make a resin material that’s then added to create a new product—PCR packaging or post-consumer resin/post-consumer recycled. It is not generally recyclable since it’s already made from recycled materials.

What are the differences between Whey Protein, Bone Broth Protein and Plant Protein+?

All of our protein formulas provide muscle- and strength-building support, and they help you easily reach your daily protein goals. Their primary differences lie in where the protein is sourced from. Our Whey Protein formula combines grass-fed whey protein concentrate with regenerative A2/A2 milk protein and eggshell membrane collagen. It provides 23 grams of protein, 6 grams of Branched-Chain Amino Acids per serving, and it includes dairy. It’s available in three flavors: Vanilla Bean, Milk Chocolate and Chocolate Peanut Butter. Bone Broth Protein provides 18-20 grams of protein per serving (depending on flavor and formula) exclusively from chicken and/or beef bone broth protein concentrate. That means it’s a dairy-free protein source that inherently includes three types of collagen and beneficial compounds like glucosamine, chondroitin and hyaluronic acid. It’s available in Pure, Vanilla, Chocolate, Turmeric, Salted Caramel, or Pumpkin Spice (seasonally) – we also have a line of savory sipping Bone Broth Protein products, which have 15 grams of protein per serving and are available in Chicken Soup, Tomato Basil or Butternut Squash flavors. Plant Protein+ is an entirely plant-based protein. Rather than relying on rice or pea protein, like most commercially available plant proteins, ours is a superfood-packed formula filled with seeds, adaptogenic herbs, mushrooms and more. It provides 15 grams of protein per serving and it’s available in Vanilla, Chocolate or Berry flavor.

Are your products produced in a facility with allergens?

We now have a disclaimer that is on ALL of our products: "Produced on equipment that also processes peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soybean, wheat, sesame, shellfish, fish, egg." This is a voluntary disclaimer and our formulations have not changed. Our manufacturers are required to have Policies and Procedures in place when it comes to handling and processing allergens. These allergen programs are in place to prevent cross contamination after each run by proper cleaning procedures. Allergen swab testing is also done after running an allergen containing product. We test finished products for allergens prior to designating as “Free” of. We also follow cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) which guarantees allergen segregation.
