The Fat Loss†* Blend is made up of clinically studied organic ashwagandha root extract and organic Ceylon cinnamon. These ingredients have been used for centuries to help your body with a healthy response to stress, feel balanced and maintain a healthy weight (in addition to an overall healthy diet and lifestyle, including regular exercise). Ashwagandha is one of the most-researched adaptogenic herbs available. We use a clinically studied, organic source of ashwagandha root extract shown to promote healthy fat loss†, reduce body fat* and reduce stress-related cravings† (in addition to a healthy diet and regular exercise). Ashwagandha can also support healthy energy levels, mental clarity and concentration, and restful sleep†. Widely believed to carry the most health benefits in comparison to other types of cinnamon, Ceylon cinnamon ( Cinnamomum verum ) comes from the bark of an evergreen tree. In general, this spice has been traditionally used to support an overall healthy metabolism, balanced blood sugar (already in the normal range) and healthy weight management*.

Question 7

What is A2/A2 milk protein?

Accepted Answer

A2/A2 milk protein comes from cows that produce only the A2 type of beta-casein, which is the same primary protein found in human milk and is often easier for humans to digest. Originally, all cow's milk contained only A2 beta-casein, but over time a genetic mutation introduced the A1 variant. Most cow's milk available on the market today is a mix of A1 and A2 proteins, but A1 can be harder to digest for some individuals. A2/A2 milk is sourced from cows bred to eliminate the A1 protein. This makes A2/A2 milk a great option for those who want to avoid regular milk – plus, A2/A2 milk has an admirable nutrient profile, including calcium, vitamin B12, and protein. We’ve chosen to use exclusively grass-fed whey and organic regenerative A2/A2 milk protein in our Whey Protein formula, so you can get the benefits of milk and whey protein in an easy-to-digest way.

Question 8

What is unique about this formula?

Accepted Answer

Most whey protein formulas are exclusively whey, and often they’re a whey isolate, which is a highly processed form of whey. We use a combination of grass-fed whey protein concentrate and regenerative A2/A2 milk protein. Milk protein, sourced from healthy cows on regeneratively farmed soil, is a nutrient-filled superfood that provides amino acids, energy from lactose and protein. Whey protein is highly effective for muscle maintenance, strength building, and recovery. Choosing a protein powder with both A2/A2 milk protein and whey offers the best of both worlds. Together, they provide a comprehensive protein source that supports muscle health†* and joint recovery†, making it an ideal choice for an active and balanced lifestyle. Our Whey Protein + Fat Loss†* Blend also features a clinically studied Fat Loss†* Blend of ashwagandha and cinnamon. This unique combination simultaneously promotes fat loss†*, burns calories†* and increases your metabolism†*, making it an ideal choice for those aiming to achieve and maintain a lean body composition†*. Ashwagandha is a powerful herb that also provides benefits like reducing fatigue†, boosting energy† and promoting a positive response to stress†.

Question 9

How (and when) should I take Whey Protein + Fat Loss†* Blend?

Accepted Answer

Whey Protein + Fat Loss†* Blend is incredibly versatile. It’s delicious mixed with water, milk, or non-dairy milk (try using a frother or a shaker bottle for the smoothest blend of powder and liquid). Or, try adding a scoop to your daily smoothie – our Vanilla Cinnamon flavor provides a light, smooth sweetness with a mild cinnamon flavor. You can even mix it into a warm drink for a wellness-inspired vanilla latte or bake with it. We’ve heard people like to mix Whey Protein + Fat Loss†* Blend up post-workout to help their muscles and joints recover† optimally, but you can take it at any time of day and still see incredible results.

Question 11

Where do you source the grass-fed whey protein concentrate from?

Accepted Answer

Our grass-fed whey protein concentrate is sourced from American grass-fed cows that are raised without hormones or antibiotics, including rBST and rBGH.

Question 12

Where do you source the organic regenerative A2/A2 milk protein from?

Accepted Answer

We source our organic regenerative A2/A2 milk protein from a dedicated, family-owned farm in the United States. The farm employs regenerative organic farming practices, ensuring that the cows graze on lush, nutrient-rich pastures. These practices produce high-quality milk while promoting soil health and animal welfare. By focusing on breeding cows that naturally produce only A2 beta-casein protein, the farm provides milk that is gentle on the gut, allowing you to enjoy all the benefits of dairy.

Question 13

Are your products produced in a facility with allergens?

Accepted Answer

We now have a disclaimer that is on ALL of our products: "Produced on equipment that may also process peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soybean, wheat, sesame, shellfish, fish, egg." This is a voluntary disclaimer and our formulations have not changed. Our manufacturers are required to have Policies and Procedures in place when it comes to handling and processing allergens. These allergen programs are in place to prevent cross contamination after each run by proper cleaning procedures. Allergen swab testing is also done after running an allergen containing product. We test finished products for allergens prior to designating as “Free” of. We also follow cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) which helps maintain allergen segregation.

Question 14

I have a dairy allergy, can I take Whey Protein + Fat Loss†* Blend?

Accepted Answer

No – Whey Protein is still a source of dairy. However, many people who are sensitive to traditional dairy products find they can more easily digest A2/A2 milk protein. However, be sure to consult your healthcare professional prior to use.

Question 15

What are BCAAs?

Accepted Answer

BCAAs, or Branched-Chain Amino Acids, are essential nutrients that the body obtains from proteins found in food. There are nine essential amino acids: histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine. These amino acids are vital for muscle growth, repair, and energy production. BCAAs play a crucial role in promoting muscle health, enhancing exercise performance, and supporting muscle strength and resilience, making them particularly beneficial for active individuals and those looking to maintain muscle mass, especially as they age. Since the body cannot produce BCAAs on its own, it's important to get them through diet or supplements. Whey Protein is a complete protein, which means it contains all nine essential amino acids.

Question 16

Why is A2/A2 milk protein often easier on the gut?

Accepted Answer

A2/A2 milk protein is often easier to digest because it contains only the A2 type of beta-casein protein, which is more similar to the protein found in human milk. Most commercially available cow's milk contains a mixture of A1 and A2 beta-casein proteins. The A1 protein can break down in the digestive system to produce a peptide called BCM-7, which has been linked to digestive discomfort in some people. A2 protein, on the other hand, does not produce BCM-7, making it gentler on the gut and less likely to cause occasional bloating or gas. As a result, many people who experience discomfort with regular milk find that A2 milk is much easier to tolerate.

Question 17

What’s the difference between whey protein concentrate and whey protein isolate?

Accepted Answer

Whey protein concentrate and whey protein isolate are both derived from cow’s milk, but differ mainly in their protein content and processing. Concentrate is a less processed option that retains more of the natural compounds found in whey, such as beneficial fats, lactose, and minerals. Isolate contains minimal fats and lactose due to more extensive processing. We believe in using whole, minimally processed options whenever possible, which is why we’ve chosen to include whey protein concentrate in this formula.
