Why did you choose these specific organ ingredients?

We chose specific organs and glands based on the ingredients we believe most adults are lacking in their everyday diet, and could get the most support from. The average daily diet does not include ingredients like bovine and ovine liver, heart, kidney and more – but the average adult can absolutely benefit from including those ingredients. That’s why we chose the 6 organs and glands that you’ll find in the product: bovine liver, ovine liver, and bovine heart, kidney, adrenal and pancreas.

What is the difference between the Once Daily Organs Blend and the Organs Blend 6-a-day?

We wanted to make it as easy and convenient as possible to get the benefits of organs. That’s why we created this once daily format. In order to do so, we kept 6 organ and gland ingredients to support liver health† and overall vitality. However, we excluded the added nutrients, probiotics, enzymes and botanicals that you’ll find in our 6-a-day Organs Blend. Both formulas contain the Multi Organ Blend; however, the Once Daily contains 1g and the 6-a-day contains 3.7g per serving. The format also differs: the once daily is in tablet form and the 6-a-day is in capsule form.

What are the benefits of consuming organs?

There are countless benefits to consuming organs. In addition to providing rare and essential nutrients, the organs or “glandulars” from animals are reasonably close in composition to that of a human. Animal organs can provide nutrients and enzymes highly specific to the corresponding organ in your body which promotes that organ’s health. Animal organs contain most of the nutrients necessary for supporting healthy glandular function (in the same way that eating muscle meat provides protein and amino acids needed to build or restore muscle). Beyond that, glandulars are among the most metabolically active tissues. They’re packed with vitamins, minerals, amino acids, polypeptides, fatty acids, enzymes, nucleic acid (RNA and DNA), and more. They’re an incredible source of whole food, fat-soluble vitamins, which are easiest for your body to absorb and retain.

Are your products produced in a facility with allergens?

We now have a disclaimer that is on ALL of our products: "Produced on equipment that may also process peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soybean, wheat, sesame, shellfish, fish, egg." This is a voluntary disclaimer and our formulations have not changed. Our manufacturers are required to have Policies and Procedures in place when it comes to handling and processing allergens. These allergen programs are in place to prevent cross contamination after each run by proper cleaning procedures. Allergen swab testing is also done after running an allergen containing product. We test finished products for allergens prior to designating as “Free” of. We also follow cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) which guarantees allergen segregation.
