Question 1

Are all the Multi Collagen Advanced products designed to work together?

Accepted Answer

No. The Multi Collagen Advanced products are each designed for their own specific goals: hydration†, muscle building†*, healthy weight management†*, and healthy detoxification†. They are designed to work independently, but you can absolutely see benefits from combining the different formulas. If you are looking to both build strength and lose fat†*, for example, you can take Multi Collagen Advanced Muscle† and Lean† formulas. (Note: Please refer to specific product pages for individual product benefits.) *In addition to an overall healthy diet and lifestyle, including regular exercise and/or regular muscle-building exercise.

Question 2

How can I incorporate the Multi Collagen Advanced products into my current routine?

Accepted Answer

This formula is beneficial no matter what time of day you decide to take it. The intention of the formula is to provide additional electrolytes into your day, particularly around times they might be extra useful to your body. A common way to take Hydrate† is to drink a serving prior to a high-intensity workout or activity, when you know you’re going to be sweating heavily. Drink Hydrate† if you’re planning on a tough hike, a hot yoga class, taking a long flight, or just craving extra hydration. When it comes to maintaining optimal electrolyte levels, preparing ahead of time is a more effective approach than trying to replenish them afterwards.

Question 3

What does it taste like?

Accepted Answer

Hydrate† is available in two flavors: Berry and Lemon-Lime. Berry is a lightly sweet, fruity flavor and Lemon-Lime is a slightly tart citrus flavor. Because our formula does include sodium (an essential mineral, necessary to maintain a balanced electrolyte profile), some people find the flavors to be salty. Everyone’s taste buds are different.

Question 4

Why is the sodium content so high?

Accepted Answer

Sodium is considered one of the most important electrolytes. It helps balance fluid levels, which assist with keeping the body properly hydrated at the cellular level. Multi Collagen Advanced Hydrate is a hydration supplement that is expertly designed to swiftly boost nutrients and essential electrolytes when you need them most. If you live in a hot, humid climate or exercise often, your body may lose higher amounts of sodium through sweating. We’ve also added potassium, magnesium and calcium, which provide great balance to the sodium.

Question 5

Why does it taste salty?

Accepted Answer

Hydrate† is formulated with 570mg of sodium per scoop, which is why the taste is saltier than you might be used to. We added this amount of sodium for two important reasons: to help replenish salt you lose through sweat, and to provide an optimal balance with the other electrolytes in this formula (calcium, potassium, and magnesium). While many of us have been taught to stay away from salt, sodium is an absolutely essential mineral that we shouldn’t be afraid to include in our diets. If you sweat a lot (maybe you live in a hot climate, or you’re regularly performing high intensity activity) and prioritize healthy, whole foods over processed foods – which contribute about 70% of Americans’ sodium intake – Hydrate† can help provide a good balance of sodium for your diet. Our tip: start with a quarter- or half-scoop of your chosen flavor so your tastebuds can adjust to the saltier taste!

Question 6

Why isn’t “protein” part of the product name?

Accepted Answer

While the Multi Collagen Advanced powder formulas still contain protein, they were created to deliver all the benefits of 10 types of collagen and specific targeted ingredients. The updated name reflects a new line of products that is different from our Multi Collagen Protein line.

Question 7

Question 9

How many servings can I have per day?

Accepted Answer

Every individual is different, and will have different electrolyte needs. Hydrate is intended to supplement the electrolytes you get through your diet. It’s currently recommended that the average adult gets 2300mg sodium, 4700g potassium, 420mg magnesium and 1300g calcium per day (primarily through whole foods). Do what is best for you – many people find 1-2 servings a day to fit into their routines best. As always, you should consult your healthcare professional prior to beginning any new dietary or lifestyle regimen.
