Question 1

Where are your organ/gland ingredients sourced from?

Accepted Answer

Our bovine (cow) organs and glands are sourced from Argentina. They are 100% bovine organs or glands with no excipients, grass-fed, Non-GMO and made without additives or toxic pesticides. Argentina is a country free from Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE). Our ovine (lamb) organs are sourced from New Zealand and are made without additives. They are wild and free-roaming.

Question 2

Why are there other ingredients included in these organ blends?

Accepted Answer

We believe in the power of a six kingdom formulation strategy. That means we’ve included ingredients from every one of the six biological kingdoms — Plant, Animal, Fungi, Bacteria, Archaea, and Protist. The modern diet usually includes plant, animal and maybe fungi sources, causing us to miss out on the other kingdoms.

Question 3

What is the difference between the Once Daily, 6-a-day and 5-a-day organ products?

Accepted Answer

The 6-a-day and 5-a-day formats include organs plus added nutrients, probiotics and superfoods. But, because we wanted to make it as easy and convenient as possible for you to get the benefits of organs into your everyday diet, we also created a once-daily format. In order to do that, the once-daily tablet does not include added nutrients, probiotics, enzymes and botanicals. This once-daily product is in tablet form, while our 5-a-day and 6-a-day comes in capsules.

Question 4

What are the benefits of consuming organs as food?

Accepted Answer

There are countless benefits to consuming organs as food. In addition to providing essential nutrients, the organs or “glandulars” from animals closely resemble the composition to that of a human. Animal organs can provide nutrients and enzymes highly specific to the corresponding organ in your body. Eating animal organs can provide most of the nutrients necessary for supporting healthy glandular function (in the same way that eating muscle meat provides protein and amino acids needed to build or restore muscle). Beyond that, glandulars as food are among the most metabolically active tissues. They’re packed with vitamins, minerals, amino acids, polypeptides, fatty acids, enzymes, nucleic acid (RNA and DNA), and more. They’re an incredible source of whole food, fat-soluble vitamins, which are easiest for your body to absorb and retain.

Question 5

Who are these products intended for?

Accepted Answer

These products are designed for any adult looking to supplement certain vitamins, and minerals to their everyday diet. They’re perfect for anyone looking to add these formulas to their routine and to support their overall health.

Question 6

How much should I take and at what time of day?

Accepted Answer

Always follow the directions on the label. Adults take 5 capsules per day with water, any time of day.

Question 7

What is the “six kingdom approach”?

Accepted Answer

The Six Kingdom Approach is our patented approach to formulating what we believe are the highest quality organ supplements in the world. It means we’ve included beneficial compounds from every one of the six biological kingdoms – Plant, Animal, Funghi, Bacteria, Archaea, and Protist. The modern diet usually includes plant, animal and maybe funghi sources, but we’re missing out on all the incredible benefits of the other kingdoms. Jordan Rubin and I believe that restoring compounds from every kingdom is the best way to create a diet that supplies energy and nutrients.

Question 8

Should women take these supplements or are they just for men?

Accepted Answer

Organ blends are incredibly beneficial for women and men. Organs – especially the liver – are high in fat-soluble vitamins and iron, which many women struggle to get enough of through diet alone. Iron is a significant nutrient for women throughout the different stages of life – menstruating and pregnant women have particularly demanding iron needs. Beyond iron, women and men can both benefit from support for organ health, healthy immune system support, gut support†, and more.

Question 9

Why are there probiotics in these blends?

Accepted Answer

Probiotics represent one of the six biological kingdoms: Bacteria. We’ve chosen to include Bacillus coagulans , which is a tough, effective strain of SBO or soil-based organism probiotics, because they're resistant to extremes in temperature as well as the harsh digestive tract. That helps them survive and thrive in your gut, promoting healthy digestion and nutrient absorption. Bacillus coagulans benefits: Supports immune system health† Reduces occasional constipation, gas and bloating† Relieves symptoms of flatulence, abdominal distension and discomfort† Promotes healthy elimination† Supports healthy digestive function† Helps to maintain healthy gut microflora†

Question 10

Are your products produced in a facility with allergens?

Accepted Answer

We now have a disclaimer that is on ALL of our products: "Produced on equipment that may also process peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soybean, wheat, sesame, shellfish, fish, egg." This is a voluntary disclaimer and our formulations have not changed. Our manufacturers are required to have Policies and Procedures in place when it comes to handling and processing allergens. These allergen programs are in place to prevent cross contamination after each run by proper cleaning procedures. Allergen swab testing is also done after running an allergen containing product. We test finished products for allergens prior to designating as “Free” of. We also follow cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) which helps maintain allergen segregation.
