Question 1

What is collagen?

Accepted Answer

Collagen is the most abundant structural protein in the body — especially type I — and is found throughout the body. As we age, natural collagen production declines, which can contribute to wrinkles, joint stiffness and reduced mobility. Collagen contains a whopping 19 different amino acids. Amino acids are the “building blocks of proteins,” and collagen includes a mix of both nonessential (also called conditional) and essential types.

Question 2

What does this collagen formula do?

Accepted Answer

This collagen formula is designed to support your hair, skin, nails, gut and joints. It helps promote improved hair texture, improves the elasticity of the skin around the eyes (think crow’s feet) and overall skin texture, and delivers fast, noticeable joint support, meaning users experience reduced joint stiffness beginning in as little as 7 days, plus improved flexibility, mobility and faster recovery from everyday activity and exercise with continued use. It also helps promote healthy cartilage over time, supporting more comfortable, resilient joints you can count on.

Question 3

Why should I be supplementing with collagen?

Accepted Answer

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body. Up to 30% of all the protein in your body is collagen protein. Up to 70% of skin, hair, nails and nearly 100% of connective tissues are made from collagen. It literally holds you together, from the hairs on your head, to every inch of your skin, to your joint comfort and mobility. Collagen production naturally declines as we age, and it’s not being consumed in the standard modern diet. Supplementing can help support your body’s normal collagen production, so you can reap all the rewards of collagen.

Question 4

How is this product different from other greens powders?

Accepted Answer

This is more than just a greens powder. It's packed with 25+ superfoods, including vegetables, fruits, mushrooms and herbs, and a Digestive Health Blend of enzymes, clinically studied probiotics, and fiber-filled ingredients like chia and flax seeds. The ingredients we use are processed at a low temperature to retain as much nutritional integrity as possible, and we use dried grass juices (which are incredibly potent compared to dried grasses). Plus, Organic SuperGreens is USDA Certified Organic - which means its ingredients are grown without toxic pesticides, is Non-GMO, and contains no added sugar.

Question 5

What makes this product "super?"

Accepted Answer

The truth is that not all servings of fruits and veggies are created equally — not by a long shot. For example, processed and canned veggies and fruits don’t contain the nutrients that you’ll get from organic, fresh produce. Likewise, a fried potato doesn’t pack the same nutritional wallop that just-picked organic spinach does. Going a step further, there are some foods that are just plain ol' food. Then there are foods classified as “superfoods,” including several green foods. You may have heard of superfoods. They’re foods that naturally contain important nutrients and antioxidants for overall health. In fact, many health professionals emphasize the necessity of superfoods for good health, and green food superfoods are getting some extra attention these days — with good reason. Green foods are often called superfoods due to their content of phytonutrients and chlorophyll, which generally supports hemoglobin production, oxygenation to cells, a healthy digestive system as well as a healthy liver and blood.
