Question 1

What is collagen?

Accepted Answer

Collagen is the most abundant structural protein in the body — especially type I — and is found throughout the body. As we age, natural collagen production declines, which can contribute to wrinkles, joint stiffness and reduced mobility. Collagen contains a whopping 19 different amino acids. Amino acids are the “building blocks of proteins,” and collagen includes a mix of both nonessential (also called conditional) and essential types.

Question 2

Are there other factors that contribute to collagen loss?

Accepted Answer

The natural aging process is not the only thing that can slow down production and diminish collagen in your body. If you’re worried about the breakdown of your own collagen, here are 7 lifestyle factors that are considered “collagen diminishers.” Poor sleep Excess sugar consumption Sun overexposure Diet low in antioxidants Sitting all day and lack of activity Nutrient shortfalls of vitamin C and zinc Free radicals You can fight back against collagen loss through a few combined approaches: Limit your exposure to damaging UV rays and other environmental toxins Consume collagen-boosting foods Support and promote the skin’s health by supplementing with collagen

Question 3

What is colostrum?

Accepted Answer

Colostrum is the first form of milk produced by mammals, including humans and cows immediately following childbirth. Commonly called “liquid gold,” it's rich in antibodies, growth factors, and nutrients specifically designed to support the development of a newborn’s gut microbiome and immune system. Colostrum contains bioactive components that can survive in the GI tract like immunoglobulins IgG and IgA, which help promote overall health (including a healthy immune system†) as well as proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals to nourish the body. We use bovine colostrum in our Colostrum supplement because it’s similar in composition to human colostrum, but contains a higher concentration of immunoglobulin IgG and can provide benefits for gut health, immune system health support†, and overall wellness.

Question 4

If I am already taking 2 servings of Multi Collagen Protein per day, can I take Colostrum + Collagen too?

Accepted Answer

It’s a well-rounded collagen product that can deliver head-to-toe support. Question 8

What is lactoferrin?

Accepted Answer

Lactoferrin is a protein naturally found in milk. It plays a key role in healthy immune system support† and helps promote health and resilience in the body by binding to iron, which helps promote healthy microbial balance. By limiting iron availability, lactoferrin can help promote a healthy microbial balance (the balance of “good” bacteria to “bad” bacteria), giving your healthy immune system an extra boost. Beyond its healthy microbial-balancing properties, lactoferrin also has antioxidant benefits, supports the body’s healthy response to oxidative stress, and can support gut health by supporting a healthy microbial balance. Lactoferrin is naturally-occurring in colostrum, and we add an additional source of clinically-studied lactoferrin for even more benefits.

Question 9

What results can I expect to see?

Accepted Answer

Our Colostrum + Collagen formula works from the inside out to support a healthy gut microbiome, healthy gut motility, digestion support, healthy immune system support†, support for healthy hair, skin and nails, and joint support†. You might notice reduced occasional gas and bloating or less abdominal discomfort†. Some benefits are harder to notice, but contribute to helping you stay healthy and active on the daily. A healthy, thriving immune system might feel like steady energy and the resilience to take on each day, where your body feels ready for whatever comes next. This formula also includes clinically studied ingredients shown to support your body’s healthy response to oxidative stress, support respiratory health and help your body maintain a healthy microbial balance.† The proprietary fermented eggshell membrane collagen ingredient in our capsules is particularly effective at reducing joint discomfort, reducing knee stiffness, improving exercise recovery and increasing mobility and flexibility†. It’s a powerful collagen ingredient that delivers fast and noticeable results.

Question 10

Is it sustainably sourced?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our colostrum is sustainably sourced. We use only colostrum from grass-fed cows raised without hormones in the USA. To ensure both quality and animal welfare, we follow a “Calf-First Commitment,” which means we only collect colostrum after the calves have received what they need for a healthy start. Our process is minimally invasive, preserving the bioactive nutrients and supporting responsible sourcing practices you can feel good about.

Question 11

Question 12

Accepted Answer

Question 15

When is the colostrum collected?

Accepted Answer

The colostrum is collected after the first and second milkings, within the first 48 hours of calving. We have a “Calf-First Commitment” that means we ensure the calves get all the nutrition they need before collection. To ensure calf health and ethical practices, our suppliers maintain both calf feeding logs and colostrum collection records — these practices help ensure that the calves receive their nutritional needs first, and only the surplus colostrum is collected for human use.

Question 16

Are your products produced in a facility with allergens?

Accepted Answer

We now have a disclaimer that is on ALL of our products: "Produced on equipment that may also process peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soybean, wheat, sesame, shellfish, fish, egg." This is a voluntary disclaimer and our formulations have not changed. Our manufacturers are required to have Policies and Procedures in place when it comes to handling and processing allergens. These allergen programs are in place to prevent cross contamination after each run by proper cleaning procedures. Allergen swab testing is also done after running an allergen containing product. We test finished products for allergens prior to designating as “Free” of. We also follow cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) which helps maintain allergen segregation.

Question 17

Is cow colostrum commonly used for human consumption?

Accepted Answer

Yes, bovine colostrum is widely consumed as a supplement because it contains immunoglobulins IgG and IgA, lactoferrin, and other bioactives that support healthy immune function, gut health, and overall wellness. Bovine colostrum has been used for centuries in traditional health practices.

Question 18

Do you produce colostrum without the inclusion of probiotics?

Accepted Answer

Not at this time. Our colostrum formula includes clinically studied Bacillus coagulans, a powerful and resilient probiotic, to enhance gut health and digestion. Our formula is specifically designed to maximize gut and immune system benefits.

Question 19

What happens to the newborn animal that relies on colostrum when it's being taken for human use?

Accepted Answer

We follow a Calf-First Commitment, which means that the calves always receive the colostrum they need before any is collected for human supplementation. This ensures they get the essential nutrients required for their early immune system and gut development. Cows naturally produce more colostrum than calves typically consume and only the excess colostrum is collected after their needs are met, supporting both animal welfare and high-quality sourcing. To ensure calf health and ethical practices, our suppliers maintain both calf feeding logs and colostrum collection records — these practices help ensure that the calves receive their nutritional needs first, and only the surplus colostrum is collected for human use.

Question 20

Is milk collected 48 hours after birth still classified as colostrum?

Accepted Answer

No. Colostrum is the first form of milk produced after birth, packed with antibodies, growth factors, and essential nutrients to support a healthy immune system and gut health. While its composition gradually evolves, research and dairy industry standards classify colostrum as the milk produced within the first 48 hours postpartum—before it transitions into milk. Our colostrum is carefully sourced within this critical window to ensure it retains its powerful bioactive compounds, delivering the full benefits nature intended.

Question 21

Is it grass-finished?

Accepted Answer

Grass-finished refers to cattle who have been fed a diet of entirely grass their entire lives. The cows we source our colostrum from are grass-fed and raised without added hormones, but they are not grass-finished – meaning their diets are supplemented with hay and concentrated feed when necessary.

Question 22

Is this product Non-GMO?

Accepted Answer

Our colostrum is not certified non-GMO. However, it is sourced from grass-fed cows raised without hormones or antibiotics in the USA. We prioritize high-quality, minimally processed ingredients, ensuring an effective formula designed to support your gut and immune system health.
