Question 1

Who is this product intended for?

Accepted Answer

This bone broth powder is designed for anyone looking for a convenient way to get the benefits of traditional bone broth without spending hours in the kitchen. It’s an easy, versatile way to get the benefits of an ancient superfood — which many of us are lacking in our modern diets — and it’s 3x more potent than homemade broth when it comes to protein content. Today’s diet is often missing important nutrients and beneficial compounds that our ancestors enjoyed, including collagen, known as the “glue that holds us together.” Bone Broth Protein is also an easy way to get those nutrients.

Question 2

What is the best way to mix this product?

Accepted Answer

Adults add one scoop to 12 ounces of liquid using a blender, hand frother or shaker cup. If you have a savory version, such as Pure, Turmeric or our sipping broths, try adding a scoop into soups, stews, sauces or broths. Our sweeter flavors also taste amazing in smoothies, pancakes, oatmeal, baked goods and more! Head over to our store blog for more delicious ideas. Bone Broth Protein is made from bone broth protein concentrate. Natural variation between batches is normal, including mixability, taste, odor and color.

Question 3

Is this product Paleo?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Bone Broth Protein is Paleo-Friendly as well as dairy free, grain free, gluten free, nut free and soy free.

Question 4

My container isn’t filled to the top. Is this normal?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Please keep in mind that packages are filled by weight and not volume. Your product will settle over time and may appear half (or even less than half) full when opened.

Question 5

I received a compostable scoop, is the product changing?

Accepted Answer

Ancient Nutrition is committed to reducing plastic waste through thoughtful packaging innovation. Transitioning to compostable scoops is one more step in our broader sustainability efforts. The only change is the material used to make the scoop. The product formula, serving size, taste, quality, and scoop functionality remain the same. The scoop is made entirely from plant-based, non-tree materials that grow abundantly in nature. The scoop is certified food safe and has undergone microbial and heavy metal testing. The compostable scoop is designed to provide the same measuring accuracy and serving size as our previous plastic scoop.

Question 6

Are your products produced in a facility with allergens?

Accepted Answer

We now have a disclaimer that is on ALL of our products: "Produced on equipment that may also process peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soybean, wheat, sesame, shellfish, fish, egg." This is a voluntary disclaimer and our formulations have not changed. Our manufacturers are required to have Policies and Procedures in place when it comes to handling and processing allergens. These allergen programs are in place to prevent cross contamination after each run by proper cleaning procedures. Allergen swab testing is also done after running an allergen containing product. We test finished products for allergens prior to designating as “Free” of. We also follow cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) which helps maintain allergen segregation.
