Question 1

Why is this zinc supplement different than many others on the market?

Accepted Answer

We carefully source an enzyme activated form of zinc for this supplement. An essential mineral that’s second only to iron in its concentration in the body, zinc is often referred to as the “intelligence mineral.” Functionally, the liver also needs zinc in sufficient amounts so it can mobilize and release stored vitamin A into the bloodstream. We then combined it with a soil-based organism (SBO) probiotic to pack in extra benefits to take these capsules to the next level.

Question 2

Who is this product intended for?

Accepted Answer

This product is intended for adults looking to supplement with zinc and naturally support healthy immune system function.†

Question 3

Why do you only include 2 billion CFUs* of Bacillus subtilis?

Accepted Answer

This is not a probiotic supplement. This unique formulation is designed to support a healthy immune system† and more. We added just the right amount of probiotics for the added immune and gut benefits. If you’re looking for a probiotic supplement, we recommend our best-selling SBO Probiotic as it contains 50 billion CFU*. *at time of manufacture

Question 4

Is this product Vegan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, these capsules contain no animal products.

Question 5

What is new about this formula and what remains the same?

Accepted Answer

This form of zinc (enzyme activated) is most common to what we have used in past formulations. What’s new is the addition of the 2 billion CFU* of Bacillus subtilis . The key takeaway is that zinc remains as one of the most key nutrients the body needs and we are providing that in a recognizable form plus the addition of soil-based organisms to help support healthy gut-mediated immunity.† *at time of manufacture

Question 6

Why is Bacillus subtilis included in these products?

Accepted Answer

Because it is a spore-forming bacteria, Bacillus subtilis is generally not subject to destruction by stomach acid, bile, caffeine, or heat. That means you’re generally going to receive a very high percentage of that 2 billion CFU* delivered to where you need it most. *at time of manufacture

Question 7

What form of zinc is found in this formulation?

Accepted Answer

This is a whole-food fermented, enzyme activated zinc. “Enzyme activated” zinc differs from elemental zinc or amino acid chelated zinc where it is bound to one or two things. This form is typically much more recognizable to the body than zinc gluconate or others on the market.

Question 8

Why aren’t your products labeled as being “dairy-free” or “nut free"?

Accepted Answer

Our products do not contain dairy, grains, nuts or soy; however, they are manufactured in facilities that may carry these allergens. This being said, all of our manufacturing partners are required to have and follow a thorough Allergen Program. The Allergen Program is to prevent the cross contamination of raw materials and processing of finished goods, where allergens may be present. Simply put, when it comes to our products and our suppliers, we follow industry best practices for full transparency and accuracy concerning our products. Therefore, where applicable for our products, we use the wording “made without dairy" and "made without nuts."

Question 9

Are your products produced in a facility with allergens?

Accepted Answer

We now have a disclaimer that is on ALL of our products: "Produced on equipment that may also process peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soybean, wheat, sesame, shellfish, fish, egg." This is a voluntary disclaimer and our formulations have not changed. Our manufacturers are required to have Policies and Procedures in place when it comes to handling and processing allergens. These allergen programs are in place to prevent cross contamination after each run by proper cleaning procedures. Allergen swab testing is also done after running an allergen containing product. We test finished products for allergens prior to designating as “Free” of. We also follow cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) which helps maintain allergen segregation.
