Where are your organ/gland ingredients sourced from?

Our bovine (cow) organs and glands are sourced from Argentina. They are 100% bovine organs or glands with no excipients, grass-fed, Non-GMO and made without additives or toxic pesticides. Argentina is a country free from Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE). Our ovine (lamb) organs are sourced from New Zealand and are made without additives. They are wild and free-roaming.

There are countless benefits to consuming organs. In addition to providing rare and essential nutrients, the organs or “glandulars” from animals are reasonably close in composition to that of a human. Animal organs can provide nutrients and enzymes highly specific to the corresponding organ in your body which promotes that organ’s health. Animal organs contain most of the nutrients necessary for supporting healthy glandular function (in the same way that eating muscle meat provides protein and amino acids needed to build or restore muscle). Beyond that, glandulars are among the most metabolically active tissues. They’re packed with vitamins, minerals, amino acids, polypeptides, fatty acids, enzymes, nucleic acid (RNA and DNA), and more. In order to do so, we kept 11 organ and gland ingredients to support liver health and overall vitality; however, we excluded the added nutrients, probiotics, enzymes, and botanicals that you’ll find in our 6-a-day Women’s Vitality blend. Both formulas contain the Women’s Vitality† Blend; however, the Once Daily contains 1g and the 6-a-day contains 3.7g per serving. The format also differs: the Once Daily is in tablet form and the 6-a-day is in capsule form.

We now have a disclaimer that is on ALL of our products: "Produced on equipment that may also process peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soybean, wheat, sesame, shellfish, fish, egg." This is a voluntary disclaimer and our formulations have not changed. Our manufacturers are required to have Policies and Procedures in place when it comes to handling and processing allergens. These allergen programs are in place to prevent cross contamination after each run by proper cleaning procedures. Allergen swab testing is also done after running an allergen containing product. We test finished products for allergens prior to designating as “Free” of. We also follow cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) which guarantees allergen segregation.
